In 2010, Association Civique Midlands (ACM) and the African Network for Policy Research and Advocacy (ANPRAS) spearheaded the 1st edition of The Earth Action Mauritius (TEAM).TEAM goes beyond rhetoric; its calls for action. As an acronym, TEAM symbolizes concerted efforts and energy to drive more action to protect our small island and subsequently a small but meaningful step for the cause of Mother Earth.
TEAM has now evolved both as a programme and a movement and it is with great pride that we associate ourselves with leading global movements like Earth Day Network and Earth Hour Global. In September 2011; we further extended our network and we have officially join the Let Do It World campaign.

Aims & Objectives
TEAM aims at raising awareness and has long-term objectives to:
• Lessen pollution and reduce natural resource destruction
• Create benefits to Nature through our actions
• Change wasteful behaviour permanently
• Advocate sustainable means of living
